Project overview

FreshCart is a portfolio grocery commerce system that connects the customer shopping experience to the operational work behind each order. Customers browse, order and manage their account while store teams handle inventory, purchasing, picking, substitutions, quality control, packing, pickup and delivery.

What problem does it solve?

A grocery store needs more than an online catalogue. FreshCart connects customer shopping with the operational work behind each order, from inventory and purchasing through picking, packing, delivery and driver workflows.

What was built

  • Product catalogue, categories, search, wishlist, recipes and repeat-purchase experiences
  • Customer accounts, addresses, orders, promotions, loyalty and gift cards
  • Inventory, suppliers, purchasing and receiving workflows
  • Picking, substitutions, quality control, packing and fulfillment states
  • Pickup/delivery operations with driver management and delivery-window workflows
